Breeze Ride – ‘Easy like a Sunday Special Run’

This ride starts at the Chris Hoy Veldrome to Glasgow Green and beyond! The ride will be around 10.9 miles, will take around 2.5 hours and we will be riding mostly on Cycle Lanes. This is a perfect ride for beginners, looking to get more confidence in riding a bike on the roads, we plan to cycle along the Clyde to Kelvingrove Park, and take in coffee and cake stop. We have a total of 8 free bikes for hire, so in order to guarantee a bike for this ride, we would appreciate if you could book a place on the Let’s Ride Website.

Otherwise, there are Nextbikes just outside the reception area that you can hire, for £1 per hour. Please register on Nextbikes beforehand to save time if able. However, if you have your own bike please bring it along.

The route is mostly cycle lanes, however there may be times when will be riding on main road.

There is a coffee stop planned (if weather against us we will divert to indoor coffee and cake stop) please bring a lock if you have one.

Helmets to be worn at all times, please bring a jacket which is waterproof along with sun protection, you never know the sun might make an appearance. We especially welcome newbies!
