Around the World Cycle Challenge

May 01, 2019 until 31 May 2019 - All Day

The virtual Around the World Cycle Challenge encourages new and existing cyclists to get out on their bikes and collectively clock up 42,000km, the distance that can be cycled on land from the city, around the world and back to the city. All types of cycling count, from individual commuting to family rides in the park. People from across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Valley can take part.

It’s really easy to take part…

Kilometres can be collected throughout May, with events and themed prizes throughout the month to motivate you to get out on your bike.

Challenge Launch Event

The Around the World Cycle Challenge launches in a car free George Square on Sunday 28 April  2019, from 10:30am-4:30pm.
